Most HOAs are draconian and completely batshit.
we cant go to our government in texas,while the politicians are having there pockets filled by home developers and hoas.if we want to act like true americans once again,we do not need to reform these unamerican organizations,they must be eliminated.think about this,when all you americans are thinking of voting for Rick Perry.do you really want to work your life away for a property,that you have no control over?i like green for a home,but all the homes where i am at must be pink.
the hoa,s have made it fool proof,where you cant fight for your rights and dictate how you home and property should be,while you work hard and pay for it.but we americans can shut them down,is we refuse to purchase homes in a hoa comunity in the future.the hoa also lies about the value of the homes.i have a manufactored home in crandall tx.these homes are still cheap like the moble homes,the name just changed.my home is worth half of the retail price of just 8 years old.still built cheap.
i purchased a home through fha.and closed and was living there a while before i knew a hoa was around.there was nothing in my contract saying such.if i had known,i would not have purchased the home.hoa are liars and thieves.they have not bothered me yet.the hoa is nonamerican and definitly anti-christian at heart.the hoa is the biggest scam ever made and our state of texas and united states government has made it legall.dont be a fool and buy a home in a hoa comunity,stay american!

i personally dont like them, but i got such a good deal on my home, i live with it, and dont bitch.
As far as her garage, uhhh that is in 99% of HOA, you are not allow to remodel the garage, it must stay as a garage..
and trash cans can not be left out over 12 hours after pickup.
And grass has to be lower then a certain height.
